A leading CDMA operator MTS India has launched a new SMS Pack for high SMS users in Kolkata metro circle.
Like other mobile service operators, MTS India introduced unlimited SMS pack where user can send 500 SMS per day. Unlike other operators, MTS SMS Pack is dearer, which costs RS.104 for 30 days. The advantage is that the user can send SMS to both local and national mobile phones.
Price band by different service operators for the same service:

In addition to higher price pack, MTS SMS services has other problems– Facebook SMS, Google SMS channel, and Google SMS search often don’t work.
CDMA operators have lowest ARPU in the telecom market. Keeping it in mind, there will be a few subscribers who may opt for the new SMS Pack.
